Frequently asked questions
Is this Blackjack free to play?+
Yes โ completely free. There's no real money anywhere, no prizes, and chips can never be cashed out for anything of value. It's entertainment (and a strategy trainer) only, and your chip balance tops up with a free daily refill.
What rules does this Blackjack table use?+
A standard 6-deck shoe. The dealer stands on all 17s (including soft 17). Blackjack โ a two-card 21 โ pays 3:2. You can double down on any first two cards (including after a split), split any matching pair up to four hands, and take insurance when the dealer shows an Ace. Split Aces receive exactly one card each. Under perfect basic strategy this rule set has roughly a 0.5% house edge.
How does the strategy hint work?+
Toggle "Strategy hint" and the game shows the mathematically-best play for your exact hand versus the dealer's up-card โ hit, stand, double, or split โ straight from the standard multi-deck basic-strategy chart. The recommended button is highlighted. It's a built-in trainer: follow it every hand and you play the game at its lowest possible house edge.
How is the game provably fair?+
Before any card is dealt, the game commits to a secret server seed by showing its SHA-256 hash. The entire 6-deck shoe order is derived from that seed (via HMAC-SHA256), so the shuffle is fixed before you place a bet and can't be changed to favor the house. When the hand ends the server seed is revealed, so you (or anyone) can recompute the hash, confirm it matches, and replay the exact shuffle.
What are chips, and how are they different from points?+
Chips are your free play currency for betting โ they refill daily and are worth nothing outside the game. Points are separate: you earn them from the daily casino challenges (e.g. "Win 3 Blackjack hands") and they add to your all-time casino total, which feeds the leaderboard. Chips and points never convert into each other.
What happens if I reload mid-hand?+
The current hand is forfeited โ the bet you placed for that hand isn't saved between page loads, so refreshing counts as abandoning it. Your overall chip balance is safe and persists. Finish the hand before you navigate away or refresh.
